KİMAUM, " Research and Production Center of Medical Implants with Additive Manufacturing "  has been  founded in the scope of  the project  that Yıldız Technical University is the leader , Bezmi Alem Vakıf University is the  partner institutions. This project has been funded by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) within the scope of the 2021 Innovative Istanbul Financial Support Program. The opening of the center was held on April 1, 2023.

KİMAUM continues its activities under the coordination of the  project leader Prof. Dr. Mihrigül EKŞİ ALTAN.

MISSION: To carry out design and manufacturing studies on the production of surgical implants on 3D printers and to carry out R&D activities on additive manufacturing.

VISION: To be a leader center in the design and production of surgical implants nationally and internationally, to be one of the leading centers in R&D activities in both medical and other fields on additive manufacturing.
